OUR STORY
At Karibu Family Care, our team embodies the true meaning of “welcome,” creating a nurturing environment where patients receive exceptional one-on-one care. Led by the husband-and-wife team of Anthony and Amy Msowoya, our practice thrives on building strong, personal relationships with each patient, ensuring they feel like part of our family.
Our dedicated professionals offer individualized attention to both adults and children, delivering continuous and consistent healthcare tailored to your specific needs.
Karibu Family Care was started by husband and wife team, Anthony and Amy Msowoya, as a nurse practitioner owned and operated primary care clinic to serve the health needs of North Peoria and the surrounding areas,
Our mission at Karibu Family Care is to always provide the type of care whereby a patient is not a number, but a person, and as such, deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, love, honesty, receptiveness, compassion and empathy while addressing the needs of mind, body and spirit.
Over the past few years, we’ve noticed that many primary care offices are turning into high-volume, high turnover practices. We think there’s a better way. A way that allows our providers to know YOU and better utilize the resources that are in our existing health system to bring you to your optimal wellness.
